The problem
The site publishes local sports coverage, match reports, and podcast episodes, the kind of timely content that only matters if Google finds it while it is still fresh. Articles that index days late miss their audience, so the whole feed needed to reach the index quickly and stay there.
What I did
- Pulled all 58 article and episode URLs from Search Console and classified each one
- Submitted new match reports and episodes promptly, so they indexed while still current
- Tracked each URL until it flipped to indexed, leaving nothing crawled but unindexed
- Built a per-URL ledger so the client can see the whole feed at a glance
- Reached all 58 tracked URLs indexed, a full 100 percent
