The problem
The store runs seven separate country storefronts on Shopify, and each one launches with its own empty index in Google. New URLs pile up faster than Google chooses to crawl and keep them, so growth in the catalogue does not automatically turn into growth in visibility.
What I did
- Audited each of the seven country stores separately in Search Console, since indexing status differs market by market
- Pulled every URL per store and classified its exact index status
- Submitted sitemaps and priority URLs for each market and tracked them until they flipped to indexed
- Built a per-URL ledger covering collections, products, and blog pages so the client can see status at a glance
- Prioritized the newest EU store as it rolled out, applying the same process from day one
- Kept the account under monthly review since 2024, re-checking status as the catalogue grows

- Roughly 290 indexed at last snapshot (88%)
- EU store rollout in progress
- Recurring client for more than 2 years
